Dolls Frontline
Roles: Motion Designer & Editor
Purpose
To promote the mobile game Girls’ Frontline and support an upcoming campaign or update with a visually engaging short-form video.
Concept Development
The concept was guided by a creative brief provided by the client. I expanded on it by sourcing fitting assets and designing high-energy visuals that matched the game’s sci-fi/military tone.
Visual & Aesthetic Choices
Futuristic interface elements, quick-paced transitions, and HUD overlays.
Stylized text animations and bold typography to enhance urgency and action.
Color palette and graphic style consistent with the game’s dark and high-tech aesthetic.
Production Decisions
Used a combination of sourced game assets and custom motion graphics to keep the visuals consistent and impactful.
Prioritized clarity and visual rhythm to maintain viewer attention throughout the fast-paced video.
Chose sound design and pacing that emphasized urgency and hype.
Creative Challenges
Short turnaround time of only a few days.
Had to interpret the brief quickly and independently source assets that felt authentic to the game’s universe.
Ensuring visual cohesion between in-game assets and custom animation work.
Reflection
This project reinforced my ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt quickly to client needs while still delivering high-quality motion graphics that respected brand identity and style.
